Frequently asked questions

Direct answers to the questions hosts, guests and vendors ask us most.

For hosts

What is RSVP+?
RSVP+ is an online event platform for creating digital invitations, collecting RSVPs, controlling who can see a private invitation, checking guests in with QR codes, selling tickets and receiving cash gifts. It is built for personal celebrations and organised events alike.
How does RSVP+ work?
A host picks an occasion, adds the event details and photos, chooses RSVP and privacy settings, then publishes an invitation page. Guests open the invitation link, RSVP, receive a Guest ID and QR pass, and can send a gift. The host tracks headcount, gifts and check-in from the Event Command Center.
How do I create an online invitation?
Create a free RSVP+ account, choose your occasion, fill in the date, venue and description, upload photos, set your RSVP deadline and privacy, then publish. Your invitation gets its own shareable link you can send by WhatsApp, email or any channel.

For guests and private events

How do guests RSVP?
Guests open the invitation link and submit the RSVP form: attending yes, no or maybe, how many adults and children, dietary notes, their relationship to the host and a message. They immediately receive a unique Guest ID and a QR code pass.
What is a Digital Invitation Pass?
A Digital Invitation Pass (DIP) is the private access code that unlocks a protected invitation. Nothing about the event is shown until the pass is verified on the server, so private celebrations stay private. Passes can be personalised per guest, shared individually, limited, disabled or revoked.
Can I create a private invitation?
Yes. Choose a protected security mode and RSVP+ will require a Digital Invitation Pass before revealing any event details. Private events are excluded from public listings, the sitemap and search engine indexing.

Tickets and gifts

Can I sell tickets through RSVP+?
Yes. Ticketed event mode lets you publish paid entry for conferences, concerts and community events, with payment handled through the built-in payment gateway and check-in through the same QR system.
Can guests send gifts?
Yes. Guests can send a cash gift or donation from the invitation page whether or not they are attending. Hosts see a gift summary and donor list in their dashboard.

Vendors and security

Can vendors list their services?
Yes. The RSVP+ vendor marketplace lets event professionals publish a business profile, receive leads from hosts and collect reviews.
How does RSVP+ protect private events?
Access rules are enforced on the server, not in the browser. Protected invitations require a verified Digital Invitation Pass, private pages carry noindex directives, private events never enter the sitemap or structured data, and event team permissions are checked in the database on every request.
